Kristen Mazzaferro is a jewelry maker and artist based in Austin, Texas. Her brand, Ferro & Fawn, was in part inspired by her name and also her love of nature. She creates hand-made jewelry using polymer clay, brass, and beadwork. While her primary focus is jewelry design, she needed a brand that could encompass all of her one-of-a-kind creations, including art, apparel, and home decor.
We put together a photo shoot for Ferro & Fawn to create branded photography to use throughout their promotional assets. We wanted to lean into the neutral colors and warm hues of the product’s color palette, while also stepping outside of the studio to lean into the natural side of the brand. The end result yielded sun-kissed photos from a late-afternoon at the beach in autumn. We hope you’ll never be able to tell it was actually a freezing day in January.
