the history

from dream
to reality

Heather and Billie met each other 8 years ago when one of them, we won’t say who, hired the other at T.J.Maxx to work on their creative team. At that point it was a really small team. Throw in late nights designing homepages, prepping for photoshoots and traveling to New York— let’s just say they got to know each other pretty quickly.

At some point they realized their personal talents complimented each other. Billie with her eye for color, high taste level, and flare for beautiful design. Heather with her practical style and many years leading creative strategy and campaigns.

They talked about how they should “totally start their own company one day” and how much they wanted to build something all their own.

Fast-forward to three babies, several big moves, a global pandemic and hundreds of zoom calls later and… here we are! We went from dream to reality.

Heather was born and raised in Somerville, Ma. That’s right, some people are actually from there. “From there” she has bopped around a bit. From Somerville, to NYC, to New Jersey, to Maine, back to MA, then NJ again (why though?) and back to MA (yay!). She’s the worlds okayest Mom (her daughter seems to like her), even better Cat Mom and married to the famous John Fitzpatrick (his band had a video on MTV2 once, I’m sure you’ve heard of him).

True Crime Fanatic. Like, it’s a huge part of her life... She also likes to exercise but doesn’t do it nearly enough and needs to live within driving distance of the ocean. For those who care about her actual experience she has been a lead creative for major companies such as T.J.Maxx, Macy’s, Edelman Digital, Google, Talbots and L.L.Bean.

Billie’s design career started in 2009 right after she graduated college. After a year working in the field she went back to school and received her Masters at the New England School of Art & Design at Suffolk University. Through the years she was lucky enough to experience what it was like to work at small design agencies, big corporate offices, and everything in between. Her design experience spans print and digital, with lots of time spent in the ecomm world.

Billie spends most her days in Boston’s north shore, playing with her two kids, making art, finding new music on Spotify, being a beach bum, checking out the new spots downtown, or thinking about where she’s going to order dinner (because who has time to cook after all that?).
